What astrocartography maps
Astrocartography plots where each planet was rising, setting, culminating or anti-culminating at the moment of birth. A line does not promise success or happiness. It marks regions where themes such as visibility, belonging, relationship, effort or responsibility may become more noticeable.
Reading the major lines
Sun lines emphasise identity and recognition; Moon lines belonging and emotional sensitivity; Venus lines relationship, beauty and social ease; Mars lines drive, competition and friction; Jupiter lines growth and learning; Saturn lines duty, solitude and durable structure. ASC, DSC, MC and IC show the life angle through which the symbolism may operate.
Why relocation charts matter
The nearest line is only one layer. A relocation chart recalculates the Ascendant, houses and angles for the new location. Parans, crossings and the accuracy of birth time can substantially change the interpretation.
The real-world filter
Visa rules, income, safety, climate, language, healthcare, work networks and community must come first. Astrocartography does not make the decision; it provides a structured way to compare places.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is an exact birth time required?
Yes. Angular lines are highly time-sensitive, and even a small error can shift them significantly.
Must I live directly on a line?
No. Practitioners usually consider a wider corridor, and distance alone never tells the whole story.
